Retirement

On the right is "Thunder", a 30+ year old rescue/retiree. He has very
limited denstistry, due to his age and genetics. He has flourished at
Lone Willow for over 5 years where he is provided with a careful daily
regimine of supplemental feed, pain medication for arthritis, and soft
grass hay. The horse on the left is "Banjo", Thunder's best buddy, he is
also 30+ years old and tends to do well by moving around the pasture
all day long. Without this pasture time, both of these horses would have
been in serious pain due to old age arthritis, however the natural
movement in a large pasture has enabled both of them to survive and
live on into their very old years comfortably!
